IN THREATENED ABORTION FETUS IS ALIVE
so only in threatened abortion is the fetus alive........in all others it is dead....
good hsar --though simple it works in emergency----
i don't think the fetus would neccessarily be dead in inevitable abortion. the major difference b/w threatened and inevitable abortion lies on the extent of cervical dilatation not on the viability of of the fetus.
inevitable>2cm cervical dilatation and will eventually proceed to completion. the fetus may be alive or dead at the time of diagnosis.
