when to screen a 25 y old male for colon cancer - father never screened but grandfather with h/o colon cancer at age 45.
anybody?
Single family member with colon CA
Start at age 40
OR 10years earlier than family member(age35)
as per MTB 3
@oranges: Thanks for the answer.

But that's for 1st degree relatives. In this case no known cancer in 1st degree - but confirmed case in 2nd degree.
Did father die of colon cancer or is he living without screening and without getting cancer?
@littledoc123: father living without known colon cancer.
Still it puts him at higher risk so I would like to start screening at the age of 35!
@littledoc123: Thanks
thank you
