What is ML to have prevented the condition in a middle aged pt with muscle spasms and jaw stiffness for 2 days, iv heroin use for 5 yrs, being SA with many partners and using condoms inconsistently, temp of 38.8, P 120. BP 152/96, facial and paraspinal muscle spasms and rigidity, paroxysmal spasms of muscles upon stimulation, decreased jaw mobility, hyperreflexia?
