Prospect College is a vocational school located in the heart of downtown Washington, D.C. not far from Farragut North and Farragut West metro stations. We are looking for someone to join our team as a Medical Instructor. The ideal candidate would have a medical background either as a Medical Assistant or Doctor, plus prior teaching experience at the vocational level. Teaching experience required (preferably at the vocational level) Requirements
License/Certification: MA Certificate or higher (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of Allied Health teaching experience
Strong Clinical Skills (EKG, Phlebotomy, Triage, Injections, Vitals, etc.)
Teaching courses in Electronic Health Record (EHR & EMR) Vocational experience a plus
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong ability to manage classroom and students
Creativity and flexibility encouraged
Academic Leadership experience a plus
