my answer is C : Dental caries ,Electrolyte disturbances ,Swelling of parotid and salivary glands all of those symptoms we can see mainly in bulimia but the High academic achievement is specific for anorexia nervosa
i am not sure of the answer but i remember that i read this explanation somewhere
if someone sure about this question with source, plz post it
dental cavities n electro imbalances r found in both condition acc to kaplan B.sci.
but Dental cavities is 2nd last option ...electr imbalances is the last option in the table given in kaplan B.sci.so i think Dental caries is correct.
enlarged parotid found in bulimia.
kashmala, could you refer me to the page in Beh science
Thanks
??????????
B or C.
It is hard to choose C.
B is a possible complication if severe enough./
I just check First aid, it is B. It is there.
sure sure irina
sorry i couldn c ur question cuz i left
its page 152 kaplan beh science.
table 12-4.eating disorders
that's so confusing guys.still don't know what is correct .
does the last or the 2nd last characterstic in Kaplan make any difference coz I see elect. imbalance and dental cavities are both the first complications in bulimia and the last in anorexia .
both of them not specific to SES
parotid enlarg. is found in bulimia

so what is the correct answer?
the correct answer is Dental caries.the q asks abt anorexia nervosa not bulimia.we need to focus on nervosa not bulimia.
Kplan notes showed E is for Bulimia not anorexia nervosa
