how do you write discharge orders on the software? if you want to discontinue an iv med and start oral at discharge with adding some investigations you may need at the next visit how do you do this?
e.g. stop heparin therapy
start warfarin oral
do pt/inr on the second day

I have the same question. also, when 5-minutes left what we should do?
can anybody give suggestions

when 5 minutes remain thats the time you write discharge orders etc. also at this time write diet counselling, safe sex,seat belt,immunization etc couselling.
To change IV just click on the order and then with option you can cancel it. after that click order and order whatever oral medication you want to give.
