Hi,
I think all of us r in same boat ........ with few exceptions. Just relax , take some time off and I hope u can see what ur goal is and way to manage it. I am also feeling so low these days abt this prep thing ........but lets try , try n try .
Best of luck

Enticerguyin, please dont lose heart . You wont believe how many of us are in a similar situation, if not worse.Thank your stars, u r a recent graduate, who has the guts to actually set a date for the exam. Its taken me too long to even get there.First examine all your study sources--Kaplan dvd's with notes, Dr.Goljan's audios with 500 pages and high yields{all posted here for free downloads thanks to kindly souls like hellohie,medical2006,nora and many other helpful docs}If after 2 -3 complete readings, you feel u have gained in confidence and knowledge, judging by your performances in the q-bank,NBME, then set a final date and give it your best shot. There is so much to learn from this forum itself--make it a point to solve atleast 50 questions a day--I am so sure you shall do it.All the best!

I postponed my Step 1 exam dates by 3 months and I got my scores in the 90s, now I am starting my residency in two weeks!!!
Don't worry about postponing, just make sure you are confident and your test scores are in the 90s.
who is from belgaum? i m also from jawaherlal nehru medical college of belgaum.
tnx malvika and cd45 for ur corageous and inspiring words for me. iw ill follow what u hv told me.
hi enticerguyin,
I was from Belgaum, did my MBBS there and worked for one year after internship. Good to see people from JNMC. I graduated in 2002 and currently joining residency in June. Don't loose worry about postponing, continue to study and do the questions. As long as your scores are good, you will get the interview calls.
Are you doing internship or just completed your internship.
Good luck.
completed my internship in last december. in which department u got ur residency. actually i m not from belgaum but my girlfrein did her mbbs from there and she is also doing MLE. she has a prob that she could'nt apply for her degree last time so she does'nt have degree and in step 1 form they ask abt copies of ur otiginal degree or the letter from ur college that when u will get it in case u don't haveit. so plz sir can u tell me that she will get it easily or not. i m asking bez ur from there and u know the dean Mr. Patil very well. will he give this letter easily?
