Following penicillin Tx for pneumococcal pneumonia,a pt develops a palpable purpuric rash.Biopsy of the rash demonstrates vasculitis with hemorrhage into the skin.The involved artererioles n venules show fibrinoid necrosis n aneutrophilic Infiltrate into the wall.many of the neutrophil r fragmented.Diagnosis.

C.leucocytoclastic angiitis

beta-lactams are known to cause leucocytoclastic angiitis.
