ok so Baystate...Its a fab program, very busy hospital...good clinical exposure in psychiatry.
PD takes personal interest in residents, good didactics and no calls. Ya no night calls for residents. Dont know if thats good or bad.
U will have 4 people iv u - one Pd, one chairman and 2 from faculty depending on your exp in psychiatry.Its a big campus so u will need to take buses to ride to different ivs...they will provide hotel and a shuttle so no worries there. Starts early and ends arnd 2. Lunch with residents, no written test. The big guys will ask gen questions and also about ethics and stuff...no case present. Other faculty may ask u to present a case. PD is more interested in knowing how u did at ur med school. Rest is just general stuff...Try to ask interesting questions when the PD takes u for a tour of the hospital. The more interest u show then, the more he would like you.

did u IV there last year? hows the hospital? sounds awesome. is it a well reputable program? did u get a chance to talk to the residents at all and if so, how did they think of the intern year thus far?
I am very interetsed to know what they aked during the IV.
