hey mutation.. where did u find thses PPV and NPP formulas .. is it really imp .. i m kinda finding it hard to push into my brain ..

Owl, I had these formulas in my notes. I am not sure how important these notes are. One of our forum members wrote a question, which I though these equations are useful for. They haven't stated the answers to the question yet, so when they do, we'll see if the equations are worth learning or not.

Hemophilia A - defect in factor VIII
- can also have the similar presentation when there is antibodies against factor VIII (MC coagulation factor to have antibodies against it)
- DD: PTT is still increased when normal plasma is mixed with patients plasma when antibodies are in the scenario; but corrected in hemophilia A.
