Took a serious confidence hit today. Got a rejection from the FM department at the site where I had two LOR's from physicians on staff. I also knew two of the residents in the FM program from med school. Not sure if either of them are there now, but I'm completely baffled. Pretty sure my personal statements were good. Aside from my exam scores, all I can figure is something is wrong in one of the letters. I'm beginning to regret waiving the right to see them. So my two best chances for interviews are gone. (shakes head in disbelief)

creds 89/86 1st att cs pass 2nd , 2 us lor ,2006 yr of grad, no ivs many rej of both IM FM
I felt bad sience the begining but I chose to give it a try.

techgeek,didnt the physicians put in a word for you to offer you an interview at least?
i know its tough but hold urself together, u will be fine.

techgeek , don't lose heart. I did not receive an invite from my dream program where I did observership, got great LOR, chief resident and so many "big shots" in that university recommended me... I have good scores, good USCE etc. But I'm not losing heart. To my utter disbelief all of my interviews are from places that if you told them to me one month ago that I would get these I'd laugh hard. Places I was sure would send me invites didn't even throw a shoe at me...LOL!!!!!
You WILL get ivs and you will be surprised ....You WILL match and you have to believe in yourself even if you have low scores!!! One interview can count...you can make it count

shigella well said indeed. like me, with only one iv i have to make it work somehow.
anybody here who knows that theres a chance for iv's after 1st dec?
or is it all over, so many conflicting opinions all over, dont know what to make of them.

thank god i got 2 ivs in last 2 days....now i got some relief...so guys let me read meassage on how to perform in interviews...i hope november would turn out to be lucky for all guys.
