5.

ok. In the past, Immune-mediated: Rh and ABO hemolysis were the most common cause, but with successful prophylaxis of this disorder, causes of non-immune-mediated ones became the principal culprits, that's the rest of the options 1-3/7-10..

Here is another question: Who can explain the pathophysio of Fetal Anemia causing HF? Start with hemolysis of infant red cells..then how does this lead to HF?

I think, Rh is the majour cause. 8-15% pregnacies Rh incompatable, if not treated about 20 % develop RD disease. If only one answer i chose this.
1 to 4, may cause, however the disorder is not widely mentioned as their majour or common feature. Mind the prevalace of this disorders, (except trsm21) too.
Cardiac disase does but how common..
ABO almost not
the thalasimia does but what is the incidence of all 4 chains absent ? Parvo 5th disease, aplastic crises are I think post partum problems.
Twin to twine does in monozygotic monoamiotic form-the rarest twining ony <2% of monozygots.
Pls somb let us know the answer

What is the most common non-immune cause of hydrops fetalis?

1. Turner syndrome
2.Trisomy 21
3.Trisomy 13
4.Trisomy 18
5.Rh hemolysis
6.ABO hemolysis
7.Homozygous a-thalassemia
8. Parvovirus B19
9. Cardiovascular disorders
10. Twin pregnancy (twin-twin transfusion syndrome)
11. All of the above

the answer is parvovirus B19. Parvovirus by itself can produce hydrops fetalis.
But a-thal will pro. hf if there is a deletion of the 4 genes, now I don't know if in homozygous you will find it.
Please post the explanation of this qs.
