So what more can we do to get the bullshit interviews from them?????? Is there any bigger place than the Ivy League's to do research? (I mean in some specialties, not every.)

i think u will get a call from them if u did research there...someone i heard got residency there by doin research there.....
the trend this season has certainly changed.....i know ppl with double 260+ still with 4-5 really low standard interviews....
mayb some hidden government policy this year

Emory sent a mail earlier saying they will start giving out ivs by Oct 1st.
she also added that rejections will b issued for ppl who r not selected for ivs but "it may not b till december"
essentially what she meant was... she will reject most of us imgs by december.
i dont have much hope in Emory (inspite of having 12wks of USCE in Emory!)
there is a preponderance of Aga Khan grads in the intern yr, however.

nothing from duke so far.
research does not seem to interest anyone this year. in fact i got rejected from my own hospital despite current postdoctoral fellowship and former observerships right here ....
things truly seem different this year.
faculty i talked to laughed at me for applying to so many programs (~90), but so far i received mostly (~90%) rejections, also from "safety" programs.
