well spartan, congratulations..wat i ve come to know of metrohealth is that it is an univ affliated program which does not ve any fellowship. it does invite imgs for interview. they have 3 positions for pgy1... i do not have much idea bout the standing of this program. if someone has anything additional to contribute please go ahead..

hi dr maran, do u mean u ve got a call from univ of texas? if yes then congratulations.. it is a great program. they ve all fellowship options plus ve a good reputation. u must ve some real good credentials.. coz no one else seems to ve heard from them i guess,else they would ve posted some msg here.. all the best.

better late than never my friend! since drmaran has already got a call, it seems that they ve started sending out interviews already which usually implies that they ve shortlisted their candidates for interviews. though that puts u at a disadvantage but it certainly doesnt mean that ur application wouldnt get a look into; esp if u ve decent credentials.. PDs evaluate applications well into oct and possibly nov. why??...because not all the candidates they invite show up for interviews. so stay hopeful.
