Answer given in NBME form 2 :

D.Optic tract..

2.Angiotensin

B. increase-- increase-- decrease

My points:
eye q: asks lesion on the right...so from given option spinal cord might not be best choice...
Water intake Q: how to explain: over 1 hr period, body systtem will response to this change, How?? might be by changing the water clearance?? right? so, hypotonic solution intake, like water, ECF volume expands, osmolarity goes down, macula densa senses it as hypotonic, gives signal to increase Na+ reabsorbtion from kidney tubules(PCT & TAL), --> DCT flow would become hypotonic--> but when tubular fluid pass through DCT to medullary CD, urine osmolarity should be matched to medulary osmolarity (1200 mosml/L) ---> , to make that equal, ADH secretion should be high...to make urine concentrated..

//// in a nutshel, 1L water intake over 1 hr, ADH will be increased, urine flow to be decreased? urine osmolarity to be normal ??

water q: ffff...
the increase of water in the body should not be kept there... and second, the ADH is one of the most important mechanisms in FAST regulation of body fluids..
increase in water intake: decrease in ADH, decrease in urine osmolarity ( since water is excreted) and increased urine flow...
for a private medical condition, i expierince that everyday... i'm supposed to take lots and lots of water... and that first: makes me go to the bathroom hundreds of times a day ( increased flow) and produces a very dilute urine!!! :-))

ATTENTION PLZ****FIRST Q .FIRST IM TRYING TO EXLAINe u the wrong choice.if lesion in cervical ganglion the eye will dialated but react to light thi y this option is incrrect.option b is also incrrect bcz fron eye field play role in volatery horezantal congugate gaze area #8 neuron from there axon synapse with( pprf)mean pramedian pontin retecular formation from there axon reache to abdocence nucleus and othre axon goes in form of medial longetudinal fassicl synaps with occulomotor nucleuse which is inevat.medial rectus muscle and from abducense nucleuse to lateral rectus muscle.which has no role in pupel contraction, the explenation will take to much time .the crrect answere isC FOR 2.ANS IS 2,FOR 3RDE IF U HAVE DOUGHT ABOUT ANS#3 WHEN U WILL ASK BCZ ITS WILL TAKE TIME TO EXP.

For first question...

the answers is optic tract.. because the left eye is normal..both direct n indirect light reflex are presnt.. but the rt eye is not able to react to the light so the posb lesion is optic nerve...ie before Lateral geniculate nucles.. according options optic tract is correct one, if it affect LGN both dirct n indirect reflex could effect....llt eye could effect.. so i put the answer optic tract...

iam not correct but i eliminate the optionss..

cervical spinal cord effect only miosis but it will able to react light...i think so...

second one...

durg is not blocked by alpha blocker so u can eliminate the last two options..

angitensin causes vasoconstriction (it doesnt have alpha receptors,,,no action by alpha blocker)..

vasoconstriction cuases bradycardia that can be blocked by M blocker..scopolamine

if same situation if the drug is blocked by alpha blocker and bradycardia is blocked by scopolamine then the ans is NE

ADH is released in two consition..

1) increase osmoloarity
2) decrease in blood volume

so above ques.. 1 liter of water so the ADH is not released so,,,, plasma ADH decrease..

has increase intake so more excretion so increase in urinary flow...as increase in urinary vol urinary osm is decrease///

this question is nothing but primary polydipsia case...
