i heard from them friday. 3 positions and in the past 4 years no fmg have been match there. they mostly match local amg, but used fmg as backup i guess.

hmm..i applied for 4 wk clinical clerkship there and got in but won't be there until january so if i don't get an interview it will be disappointing since I still have to go there

Hi guyz, no activity on this thread? i am idle for the past 2 weeks, no ivs and no rejections. i guess some of us have got good ivs, from u of chicago, albert einstein philly, etsu. i havent heard from them yet. letss keep this thread alive. meghaww, what about a new thread of the same, like obgyn thread contdd...? good luck for the week ahead

and one iv in obgyn till date
not many rejection till now, atleast feeling good for that !!!

hello sheils, i think we need to wait, be optimistic, i think all of us are in the same boat. its a very tough time, waiting,, but programs in the tristate area will wake up soon, that is our hope right? ny and philly

Hi Sheils, indiaobgyn is correct, this wait period is very stressful , but we need to wait, just now i got an e mail from chicago prog that they r still reviewing the application !!
if u r not getting rejections.....relax and wait till oct end.

Also received that e-mail from chicago. Silence and acknowledgment letters are way better than rejections. Keeps the hope alive hehe. But waiting sure is hard!

Hi Darevee,
last year when i had applied for obgyn, my application was incomplete, i was not even ecfmg certified and no usce. I received many rejections within a period of one month. most of them in october. def oct is the month we need to wait for the prog to respond. I know few people who got iv in oct end and then they matched also
