Thank you seeker558 for the info.
I was looking at the thread of psychiatry 2012 yesterday and I compiled the ones that sent rejections last year. For my peace of mind so I would know where I stand. Because looking at the SDN now it's like 70% of the programs that I applied has been sending IVs to AMGs. So I would assume if I don't hear anything from them, it's a rejection already.I would just assume that they will be the ones sending this year too.I might be wrong .. I just wanna share this...

I just remembered one other hopeful point. Even if there is no news in two weeks (which probably means reject), other people with interviews will cancel them because they have decided on where they want to match. So. . .there will be late invites in January and February. The moral is to not give up until that unhealthy lady sings.

I applied to 46 programs; have added 3 more; have been rejected by 5 plus a couple more verbal rejects. I anticipate that I will receive explicit rejects from 6 or 7 more programs. Six or seven programs verbally told me that they will make decisions within the next two weeks and notify iv AND not notify the rej because of the possibility of late iv. Only two programs made it overt (Banner and Emory) that AMG are treated differently from IMG. Split in whether FMG/IMG are treated differently. Nothing overt but some programs stressed US clinical experience and others did not. Because of how vague they were, it's hard to isolate which one was which. I got voicemail on about 25 of them. Will call again tomorrow.
