Hey omkara2008, thanks for the reply. I applied on 09/24, I think mine is on the way. It may sound funny to you, I really want to find a reason to visit Hawaii, that is the main reason I applied there.

I applied to maimonides, but I haven't heard from the program. I also applied to Mount Sinai-campus and Mount Sinai general, does anyone recieve IV or rejection? Thanks.

guys, how many psych IVs is considering OK, in another words, has potential to be matched this year? Captain, psychiatric, psychiatry2008, omkara2008, luckydonkey....anyone, please speak up, thanks

hey fellow i dont agree with the concept of bigger number of ivs to get matched i got fren who had 3 ivs n already signed prematch while another fren with 24 ivs is still moving on grayhound......i believe its all 1 iv u need to get match..trust me if 1prog can reject u all 15-20 prog that send u iv can reject u...but benefit of larger number of iv is u can make mistake at 1 prog n u'll havea better practise of interivew so that u'll at least match with one...while havinf less number of iv u have to be perfectionist no margin for error...but i guess still all u need is 1 prog ......coz i know people who got match with single interview call (but not in psy)..how many do u have?

I only have three, and I am worried. I agree with you flowlessly, psychiatric. I think psych IVs are different from other specialities. All the best to you.
