Hello guys, I decided to move on. I'll take step 3 and try to get good LOR by applying observership.
Is there any hospital where I can apply for observership. I live in NYC. It is better for NY hospitals.

I don't know any NY hosp but you can try Jackson memorial in Miami or Mt.Sinai in Miami.

It depends about step 3. Most PD do not even use the step 3 filter to screen the applications. only for visa spots. But step 1 and step 2 scores are needed for sure and the attempts do matter. had a friend 83, 75 failed 2x, 89 after two years of studying still could not get ivs. With many attempts step 3 is good to have to show that you are not a liability but better have 230 min with many attempts.

my scores 85, 81, 83 all first attempt no match or soap. us citizen
2ivs applied to 100 programs in FM 2010 graduate

Are you sure you dont have a horrible LOR or mistake in your resume?
ALL FIRST ATTEMPT and only 2...... Something is seriously wrong with your application. Were you very picky about where you applied?
Sorry but I just dont believe your luck or something must have gone horrible wrong. I also have all exams but step 2 was a disaster for me and i had IVs

my scores 234 (99)/231(99)/194(76)/cs passed all in first attempt, 2010 grad,
3 US lor's from university hospitals, 2 months usce, 7 i.vs.....not matched
i think my lor's must have been sick and i have to have more usce, with some research this time. I am just scared if things gonna be better or not

I dont understand that the unfilled positions number of IM and FM doesnt change at all since yesterday. and even after the offer at 9am. Is it because ppl still thinking of accepting the offer or not? or they (PDs) didnt update it? like in jamaica hosiptal, they have 2 positions, but actually they filled already couple days ago
