Has anyone used the underground clinical case vignettes as a study aid for step 1? Is it helpful and does it resemble the types of questions that are on the exam?

NYU

Yes, I used it for behavioral sci, and skimmed through it for pathophys and anatomy.

I think it's good for a limited view of a topic, but by no means should you use it with limited time. The questions on the exam do not ask for diagnosis. In my experience and in that of my friends, we have guesstimated that about 15% of the questions asked for a diagnosis. Remember that Step 1 is a basic science exam, not "play doctor" or triage nurse.
