Is it late? - need - ArchivalUser - 09-04-2006

I sent 2 of my LORS only on Friday. I guess they willtake atleast 10 days to upload them. My question is ,can I apply without those 2lors,or should I wait a couple of weeks and then apply?inorder to make my application complete? Will it be toolate ? if I wait till say,14th of September?

Yes, you can! ECFMG will automatically send your LORs to those programs that you designate these LORs to at a later date.
I also sent one LOR on Thursday and spoke with an ECFMG rep, and this is what she told me.

S C U T W O R K website does not post the negative reviews of programs, so it is not impartial.
My negative review of West Jersey-Memorial Hospital at Virtua Program, Voorhees, NJ was rejected even though there was no offensive words in it. Residents are very unhappy there.

Thank you for your reply!
But, will the programmes care to see the LORS that are uploaded late! I mean ,will they give a second look to an application, which is incomplete the first they looked at it! It helps if some one can clarify this for me!

Hi need,

i m in the same boat. Waiting for 1 lor to be uploaded. But I will only apply when it gets uploaded. I want to send complete appplication. And one more week would not do much harm.

Thank you! that helps!
But in my case, it might take more than 10 days. Is it still allright to wait that long?
