hey guys, this may be a silly question, but i really don't know the answer. As a IMG can i take the step 3, before i take the step 1. i have clinical experience thats why i am asking. i will have to go back and re-study for the study 1 material since it has been a while, but i can do step 3. i don't have any visa issues.
any input will be appreciated.

u cant..coz u need ecfmg certification to apply for step 3...shud be done with 1/2ck/cs before step 3...

No you can't. You have to be ECFMG certified BEFORE you can take Step3.
Best advice, if you are very confident about your clinical abilities then take Step 2CK as it's very clinically oriented, then 2CS and finally Step 1.
