Is Dysplasia Reversible? - tona - ArchivalUser - 03-25-2007 Can it revert to normal ( reversible?) cell morphology & architecture? UW says it is reversible .... i thought it may/may not progress to CIS & invasive Ca , but once a tissue becomes Dysplastic ( not metaplastic) it doesn't revert back.. anyone knows about it? 0 - ArchivalUser - 03-25-2007 hi tona this is what I found on http://library.med.utah.edu/WebPath/CINJHTML/CINJ011.html The normal cervical squamous epithelium has become transformed to a more disorderly growth pattern, or dysplastic epithelium. This is farther down the road toward neoplasia, but dysplasia is still a potentially reversible process. 0 - ArchivalUser - 03-25-2007 yes it is. when is ur exam tona? 0 - ArchivalUser - 03-25-2007 thx a lot melena .... hey residency2008, mine is exactly 1 month from now.... i saw in ur post, urs on April 28, if i remember properly ....all the best man. 0 - ArchivalUser - 03-25-2007 ty dear 0 - ArchivalUser - 03-25-2007 you welcome tona |
