i am a novice, i would like to know what is a Ca letter,
how to acquire one,
what are the requirements for the same,
how much does it cost,
what would be the advantage of the same.

CA letter aka PTAL ( Postgraduate Training Authorization Letter ) is a prereq to practicing in California.
