72 year old female. known mitral stenosis and AF. presents with abrupt periumbilical pain. phy examn: temp: 38.3 C, 100/60 MMhG, pulse 120.
bowel sounds normal, mild abd distension, tenderness without rebound. stool is guaiac positive but not grossly bloody. wbc: 16.000. plain film: air-fluid levels +.

most appr. diagnostic maneuver at this time is:

A- exploratory laparotomy
B-laparoscopy
C- CT of abdomen
D- angiography
