right doc

I did attend a pre interview telephone conversation at MGH chicago, not a bad way of segregating so many applicants. Usual questions like why do you wanna do surgery will be asked, so if you prepare well you will do good.

how many programs have you applied this year cs?

0 - ArchivalUser - 09-06-2008

thanks CS
how is life as a PGY1?
i had an offer for a prelim this year - meaning to start right away from MCH chicago - on a J1
i thought about in detail and had refused
may be not a right decision
but having refused - am looking forward to hear something from others
anxiety prevails

cadaver,

I haven't applied until now. I am still thinking about the whole process. Dont know what to do. Thats exactly why preliminary is such a gamble. In an aspect its very good that you get US experience but the next match starts so soon that you wonder whether you can apply at full strength.

right doc

Nobody can tell you whether it was a right decision or not except time. But if I was you I would have cashed in. All the best this year.
