Just understand the gravity look at my credentials in surgical rejections thread which u can find through search. I have 12 rejections to date and not a single interview. Options for you will be to use your contacts to get prelim position they are not easy now a days, I am not discouraging you I am just being practical, other thing is to go for research and get some papers published and then try for surgery, or go for other alternatives as a back up and you can change later if things work out for you. Please be practical and act swifly and use your contacts to get IVs. Always remember any thing is possible -----------------at the sametime be practical
