2009 match - freud - ArchivalUser - 04-28-2008 I want to apply for the 2009 match but I didnt take yet step 2 ck and cs,planning to do so in June for ck and Nov for cs...do u think it is feasable?if I fail cs or ck on 1st attempt I guess I wont make it for the 2009 match...do I have other options to apply for 2009...or I just forget it and focuus on 2010?thanx for ur kindness and ur time 0 - ArchivalUser - 04-28-2008 Lets see what others say,I think you will need to wait for 2010,as what I concluded from your post is that you have only done with step1 yet.unless you finish step2 at the end of july and cs till mid may and get everything ready for sep 2008. 0 - ArchivalUser - 04-28-2008 you have to book in advance for step2 cs in philli it's take about 3 months for sure prior to the exam look for available date in the website. www.ecfmg.org and what about prepare for the interview. that take place around sep to oct, i mean sending the application form. it's up to you are IMGs or not, i think 0 - ArchivalUser - 04-28-2008 you will get less interview places if you have no CS result on time 0 - ArchivalUser - 04-28-2008 thanx a lot for ur reply.. why cs by mid may?I thought I had time until dec 2008? 0 - ArchivalUser - 04-28-2008 I would say do CS first because it is harder to get a spot for CS if you failed. Then do CK. Do CS as soon as possible, do not wait that long. Then you may be able to catch it. It also depends on your status. If you are studying full time, I would say it is doable for sure. 0 - ArchivalUser - 04-28-2008 thanx guys for ur replies...I am IMG...I feel that it's challenging for me to do everything within sept....I thought the deadline was Dec....but thanx a lot again for help..and good luck to u! 0 - ArchivalUser - 04-28-2008 thanx jhonnydeep...am studying part time...as I work full time but ur advice is very appreciated...what wld one use as a study tool doe cs? 0 - ArchivalUser - 04-28-2008 FA is good and uw physical exam videos and few cases which are not given in FA.good luck. 0 - ArchivalUser - 04-28-2008 thank u guys!and good luck to u as well! |
