i am asking bedrest or pt can be mobilised after short rest.

after excluding cordcompression(by absence of saddle anesthesia,urinary symptoms)...give nnsaid,muscle relaxant and advice mobility...if symptoms persist after 2 weeks(duration i m not sure)...do mri

kuttungur u r right....but if pt does not get better u go for laminectomy....thats surgery but after mri

So if a pt jus comes with back pain and SLR +, we give him give nsaid,muscle relaxant and advice mobility...if symptoms persist after 2 weeks, then only do MRI

I rememebr some where that, bed rest for 3 days and if not improving then go for MRI?

can anyone correct me

yup pinky....kaplan says bed rest and uworld said different as i mentioned above...can anybody help us solving this confusion please...
