I made my first dictation a few days ago it was terrible. For that facility pala kasi we had to dictate so I ended up dictating from my cel a few hours after I'd left that facility without any decent notes whatsoever on that patient (which is not how I would like my 1st dictation to be). It was so painful to try and remember everything..did not even get to hit the pause or stop button because I was using my cel. Lesson learned! hehe.

Nice. I always try to finish my dictations before i head home. Ok lang yan xthine. Dun sa una ko, my co-resident had a nosebleed. Hahaha. Anyway nakalagay kasi sa may ROS pa lang, "dictation suddenly stopped." Hehehe. But i had made a new one after that, di pa lang natatapos ng transcriber. How is everyone? Just finished ICU last month, ER now. I think I'm enjoying ER more. I wouldn't want to be an ER physician though. Walang pahinga!

^^ Yup..at next time kailangan prepared before mag dictate. Wag gagayahin ang AMG na PGY2..di ko pa kakayanin yung on the fly- lightning fast dictation na ganun! lol.
I know ano, nakaka drain ang ER. My first 2 weeks I did nothing but sleep after coming home from 12 hour shifts down there. It was fun though and I learned a lot.

Congrats to those who are matched and doing their residency training. Ang gagaling nyo naman. Sana kami ring mag papamatch this 2010, will have d same luck and oppotunity. Ask ko lang si doc harry, kung saan sya na match ng IM dito sa NYC? Im planning of applying in tristate area esp in NYC. Baka pede mo akong bigyan ng advice or idea of what are the "must have requirements" for those who wants to apply in d dept. u are in. Thanks in advance. Always be benign!

hi! i'm aiming for match 2010. fam med/ im preferably sana dito sa CA since i live here w/ my family.ngayon lang ako nagre-research ng programs since i just finished my step 1 and i've been working on the CAF. question lang sa mga na-match dito sa CA, can you please tell me as to what are the requirements of your program? iyong iba kasing program walang naka-specify. i also want to know which ones are IMG-friendly. thanks so much!
