Prepared part time for 5months, full time for 3 months. I think the most important material is First Aid and UW. If you understand all the points in these two things, you can get 99.
UW50-60% first time. 88% 2nd time
Kaplan 72%(finished 90%)
my self assessment:
NBME1 530/226(2 mon b4)
NBME6 550/230(1 mon b4)
NBME4,5 580/236 (2weeks b4)
UW self assessment1: 730/259(1week b4)
UW self assessment2: 700/256(1week b4)
NBMEs seem more accurate than UW sa. But they are good because they provide the explanation.
Anyway, I can go back to study CK now.

I didn't read any kaplan book, but at first rapid reviewed some high yield and BRS series. The reason why I think the most useful things are uw and fa is that at last, I can't remember any information in the books above. But I read FA more than 10 times. I also wrote the uw note in the margin of fa。I tried to understand every sentence in fa and extended to some new knowledge。So, fa is very very important!

I think you didn't understand the knowledge very well. I will give you a instance to explain how to use fa:
at page 321, there is blood cell differentiation:
It list pluripotent hematopoietic stem cell. Do you understand what is that? how many kinds of stem cells? what are they? You need to ask yourself such questions. If you do so, I can guarantee your score.
