I am studying for step 1 and am planning to go for the exam in July in order to be able to apply for residency in september.
My question for all of you is :do i really have to study Kaplan? It is impossibile for me to do so.
I realized that I am just can't read that material!I am studying now Lippenkott and find it more interesting .
Also I heave the 2 new First aid books that are really good from my point of view.
I am waiting for your oppinions because I may be wrong and don't want to fail!
I don't have the Pathology slides but hope someone can give me a clue where to find those.

Do one NBME online to assess urself. It will provide u a full analysis of ur weakness subjects. Take it from there if u score bad u may have to go through Kaplan videos. If you do well then just focus on ur wk spots. Try Kaplan Med essentials ..... I love that book. You dont have to read all the matterial if u have a good grasp on the concept.
