a young enthusiastic research assistant was working on a study to determine which tumor shows mutations due to deletion of genetic material after undergoing mutliple cell divisions in a culture. He came up with a hypothesis which showed that the following tumor had an increased activity of certain enzyme that prevented the aforementioned type of mutation...

1. gastric cell rest in a meckel diverticulum
2. capillary hemangioma
3. infiltrating ductal ca of breast
4. cervical ca in situ
5. tubular adenoma
6. lipoma

it is telomerase related?

only malignant have high telomarase.

so ans 3 infiltrating ca of breast

yup ur right...high telomerase activity in malignancy!
