i had my j1 visa interview in london on 26th of may.the visa was approved but till now i have not gotten my passport back.Please is this normal?i'm so worried.

cool ..its Administrative processing which will take time..No need to worry.

I had my interview at london on 28th may
Although he said they would give me the visa - they returned the passports back with 221G form saying - its going to be administrative processing
and it could take upto 2 months normally
am sitting tight here now
dont know what to do?
I have told the program and they are very understanding!

i did not get my visa yet
they returned my passport during the interview itself

hi mmurthy9,in my case i was told the visa has been approved during the interview and i should go and pay for delivery which i did.

Hi Roy 1,,, I was interviewed at London embassy on 5 jun. Am also bit tensed when I will get my passport because I have made my travel arrangements and orientation is nearing ,, just waiting for passport.
Did the visa officer retained your DS 2019 with him or her .

Hi mle09,yes she did retain it and said it will be sent with the passport.what about yours?was it retained?please keep me updated.

yes she kept it with herself,,,,,, said that my visa was approved and pay the courier fee.
