Hi famresident,
I copypasted this from other site for your help. Choose connecticut as they have suggested below as that state has minimum requirements for registration.
Requirements : credit card, computer, ECFMG certificate(for IMGs) , printer
1. click on usmle.org on internet
2. click on Application materials
3. Scroll down and click on: http://www.fsmb.org in Step 3 section
4. In http://www.fsmb.org click on Register for USMLE Step 3 Online.
5. Click on Proceed.
6.Click on State specific Requirements chart.
7. Here click on Connecticut if u r not doing residency yet, (i do not know about Florida, Connecticut worked fine for me)
8. Click Proceed forward.
9.Fill up the online application, pay up the fees and u will get a printout .
10. Fix your Photo on this , get it notarized by a notary public and send it to the address required .
11. They will send u a e- mail , by which u can see the status of your application and God willing , your permit in about 5 days.
