I applied on Sep 1st.
My scores are not that great: 92/87/CS awaiting result. I guess that I got the interview because of my research:
Top US PhD, Top research institute postdoc. Bunch of publications including Cell, Nature, JBC... Postdoc fellowship from famous society. Four very strong recommendation letters: one from my PhD mentor, one from my postdoc mentor who is a member of NAS, one from a PD of a top pathology program, one from a senior professor (also a MD) who is famous in the field.
The only thing that worries me is my CS result.

Hi Mdia,
You had great publications! I also got an interview from Case Western yesterday. However, I am almost the opposite of you: high score but only few so-so publications. I am so confused now what they are looking for in an applicant.
BTW, did you book your interview in October? I am surprised they start to interview from October 5th.
