Amfas, is the US training well recognized in your country? Is the pay as good as here? It is so admirable that you have the choice of going back to practice in the future.
Medpath, check carotid's posts here, there is a list of IVs and Rejections.
By the way, U of Tenn at Memphis sent me an email saying they don't sponsor H1 visa, so it is equal to a rejection for me.

@ Sharp : In fact US training is a very big advantage back home. Appointment as faculty in my school requires US/UK/Canada/Australia training, and all my Letter writers from home are US trained.a US trained physician can make as high as 30,000 USD/month depending on type of practice.

I applied to Colorado, and they have not downloaded my files yet. Others include Boston U, Oklahoma and Cincinnati.
