California is not among my first few choices, so I didnt inquire much abt the PTAL. Pl forgive my ignorance. Thanks for the info though.

@hepk, in that case you might inform the program so that some one else can have a chance .
In 2008 & 2009 matches Califonia matched to 3 people out of 60 seats for the entire state.
the data is available on nrmp website .
Finally it is yr choice & decision....

i'm not black and I got an IV in howard..which is predominatly black.. so if i got an IV.. that means I might get in.. if they only accept black.. why waste their time on a non-black interviewee..common people
I would only accept a prematch if it was in Houston..lol

I got an interview invitation from NIH by mail today. Can I ask you guys a question? Their letter says: "If you would like to give a seminar on some aspects of your research, we can offer some financial assistance to help cover your expenses." Do you plan to give a 30-minute seminar during your interview? Thank you!
