hi dief68, do you mean that out of a total of 9 positions, they have already given 7 prematches and are taking only 2 seats for match till date..how did you get that info that they still have 2 seats? did you call the PC to ask this? i also interviewed there but haven't heard from them since..really tense..how was your interview there?

Any idea about which visa SUNY DOWNSTATE NY and Creigton university Omaha psychiatry program sponsors?
Also is SUNYDown state, a University program or university affiliated community program? response will be hightly appreciated. thanks.

They have withdrawn from the match.Yesterday, I have checked NRMP site, Kaboom!, disappear.
Anyway, the PC emailed me to let me know, there is no match for them.
I have received my letter stating I was not chosen for this year 2010.
I think is a good program, but so sad they should give everybody a chance via the match.
I was with an applicant they have offered a prematch, she told me she will get anything this
year because of visa issue.She got 99 Step 2, but she said she does not like Psych, however;she
was offered a prematch there( Bronx-Lebanon).I don't know if she accepted the position.
Are those program training residents or selling Board Scores?

what kind of psychiatrists are they if they cannot even judge which applicant really wants to do psych and which one does not...
jab ek saal baad applicant chhod ke chala jayega, tab board scores ka achaar dalenge kya..

thats the issue, so many dropping out of psych after the 1st year and applying for other specialities and they get a preference because of the experience/.........just a vicious cycle.
