i applied to take my step 3 exam via california. can i take the exam in arizona prometric center?

Mattlee, I heard you can, but personally never tried. Try to schedule in Arizona, anyway your application is for California.

i am eligible to take step 3 via state of california medical board. but i am living in arizona currently. i dont want to drive to california to take my step 3. i want to take it in arizona. but i am not eligible to take step 3 via arizona board of medicine.

You can schedule your exam in any prometric center in the US, regardless of which state you applied from. I applied via CT and took the exam in PA.

i just feel like your medical knowledge is excellent by looking at the answers and questions that you posted here. i just wonder have you received your results and what materials you are using for your step 3. i am struggling with CCS. do you have some good experiences on this? thanks.

Thanks, mattleee. But I am still scare and not sure about the test results....
I just finished the residency and for some reasons decided to take the exam after. So, CCS were not so hard for me, but still would wait until the results are out. Used mostly UW " with extensions"- read a bit about other options in the questions and forum qs.
What about you? Why do you need to take it now?

what specialty do you have? is step 3 hard for you also?
