my own unique experience - pedrito - ArchivalUser - 06-25-2005

I found Step 1 very easy. I've got 98 without studying. I could not study because I work full time in a Kinko's and on the weekends I work as a tennis coach. On top of that I am a single dad and have 3 kids at home. More amazingly I never went to Med School.I just finished High School.

Of couse I'm kidding. It took me forever to pass my tests and am now in training. I am suffering this agony through my wife's, who is taking her tests now and having a hard time.

I just want to send a message of suport and solidarity to all of you out there fighting this beast.

P.S.: I wouldn'tmake a huge deal if not achieving this goal : this life sucks!!!and the prospects as an attending are far from the romantic idea that used to motivate me in the low times.

Great forum, very helpful for my wife.
