I think is necrotizing facitis or gas gangrene (c Perfringes)

Dont remember exactly the case. Patient with bubles over the skin and crepitation to palpation over the skin chest area...I think she had abdominal pain. I was not able to locate the source of the infection.

Sometimes people with diverticulitis, intestinal perforation, or tumors of the intestine develop necrotizing infections of the abdominal wall, genital area, or thighs.

Dont know the answer . I saw a case like that , mostly crepitations and air bubles...Nothing more.. It could be air embolism

I think it can be tension pneumothorax with air seeping into the mediastinum and skin over chest. Hence the crepitus. What are the chest findings?
