from mid 2011 latest all centers will have reduced q's...and by late 2011 step 1 & Ck are expected to b combined into single exam.
This news came from reliable source...moreover due to lot pressure of unmatched candidates exam q's r goin to be lot tougher.
Be fast to appear as u can.

But its little weired.
Because the Board will lose a lot of money from different parts of the world.
Two exam in one, that means they will earn ~800 dollar per Examinee instead of 1600 dollar.
Very strange !!!!
It does not match with current US economic policy !!!

its only a change in qs from 336 to 324 in step 1
typing instead of hand writing in cs case sheets.
nothing like combined exam n tough qs is announced.....

why are they reducing questions.... and is the difficulty level of the exam same as NBME on the actual exam.... hey bumba... what do u think is a good NBME score .... like 500.. 600... how much shud predict a comfortable 95+? i think u have good insight about these things... please tell me.. Thanks

500+ is good score
450-500 is modest score
400-450 passing score
below 400 dont appear
