0 - ArchivalUser - 11-30-2010 @ docx- did u get an email saying that your application @UAMS has been rejected? 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-30-2010 Yes, I did. 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-30-2010 Can you post that email? docx..I'm curious. 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-30-2010 i got this email from them Dear Applicant, Thank you for your message. Due to the large number of applications we receive, we follow these steps during the interviewing season: 1. We review applications on a weekly basis. Considering that we already have more than 1,000 applications for six spaces, the review process can take several weeks. 2. We determine which applicants to interview by telephone. Both faculty members and current residents participate in telephone interviewing. 3. After the telephone interviews, we choose a small number to invite for a personal interview. I understand that you must be eager for an update on your application - but please be patient with us. Given the overwhelming number of applications we receive, the process is inherently slow. Only a small percentage of applicants will be chosen for telephone interviews. An even smaller percentage will be called in for personal interviews. If we need additional information, or if you are chosen for an interview, we will contact you immediately. If you have general questions about our program, check out our website at http://familymedicine.uams.edu/default.asp Thank you for your patience. Best wishes in your search for the residency program that is perfect for you. Rozanne Demel Residency Coordinator Department of Family & Preventive Medicine Is this a rejection???? 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-30-2010 @docx...many of us got an email as posted by 'cantstudy' above... hence we all are curious!!! 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-30-2010 Dear Applicant, Thank you for applying to the Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. I'm sorry that we will be unable to offer further consideration to your application. As you probably know, we typically have more than 1,000 applicants each year for only six spaces in the program. The competition is very keen, and many excellent applicants such as yourself will not be chosen. Please do not consider this to be a poor reflection on your qualifications. Rather, it's a reflection of the difficult choices that we must make based on the highly qualified applicant pool. I wish you the best as you look for the residency program that is a perfect fit for you. Sincerely, C. Philip Hudson, M.D. Residency Program Director 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-30-2010 so did anyone get the phone interview UAMS mentioned in their mail yet? 0 - ArchivalUser - 11-30-2010 Got an iv today at Wichita Falls,TX.Any idea about the program and how the iv process is like ? 0 - ArchivalUser - 12-01-2010 I got UAMS ph interview last 3 weeks ago and i got rejection like docx last night. anyway i get 1iv from california resently total 5 california iv no hope for prematch! ewwww 0 - ArchivalUser - 12-01-2010 Congrats lovely for your new IV, where is it? |
