yea med2mle,

they sent me the same email.

@everyone:

Does anyone have any knowledge about 'if applying to both fm and im at the same institution is bad or if they can find out through there software or something if an applicant applied for more than one specialty in the same institution?
if yes, how/why?

Sweetiful: When did you apply to South Nassau? Did you do it on the first?

Proven: I think what they do is that they just ask you during an IV. Nobody has mentioned to me that they have software filters that filter out if you apply to two programs in their place.

Your application and credentials for training in family medicine have been
carefully reviewed. We regret we are unable to grant you an interview.

The Mercy Family Medicine Residency Program receives many more applications
than it has educational opportunities. Unfortunately, a number of

St.Vincents FM program, IN

Thank you for your interest in St. Vincent Family Medicine Residency Program in Indianapolis. We are fortunate to already have received a large number of applications which meet both our required and every aspect of our preferred criteria. At least one aspect of your application does not meet our preferences.
General examples:
Medical school graduation date before 5/08,
USMLE - not passing on first attempt for each step, scores under 200,
Lack of 12 months HANDS ON US clinical experience, etc.
As such, we will not be extending an invitation to interview.
Best wishes for success.
