about chinese diploma - hope123 - ArchivalUser - 08-28-2005 dear frns, i have one q in my english diploma it is mention bachelor of medicine and bacherlor of surgery but in chinese diploma it is written.. bachelor's degree of medicine only, pls suggest what should i write in my application... thanks... 0 - ArchivalUser - 08-28-2005 I think you only need to send english translation to eras, but it is kinda strange that translation doesn't reflect original exactly. Problem will comes up during interview while program director knew Chinese and asked for original diploma. Here is what I got from ECFMG website. gl Do I need to have my documents translated into English? Yes, but please send us the translation only. Translations of ERAS documents do not have to be notarized, but they should be neat and look professional. Please do not send us the original-language documents or the translator's certificate. Be prepared to provide your original documents if the program directors ask for them, should you be invited for an interview. |
