Yes, it is due to Vit E deficiency... good one. It is mainly seen Px who can't absorbs Vit E due to malabsorption in CF, Crohn Dz or any pancreatic insufficiency.

yes but there should be a HEMOLYTIC ANEMIA too due to fragility of RBCs
