Is it me or true? - docindistress - ArchivalUser - 10-04-2005

1. I have called so many New York programs for IM Residency and I have received reply from number of them saying that they don't sponsor visas? Has any one felt the same way? To IMGs out there: Are you still applying to those programs who say they don't sponsor visas?

2. I called up so many IM programs in Ohio and found that majority of these programs require USCE. Should we apply to such programs or not? Are they very rigid about it?

And most of the programs in Illinois have a Grad year requirement, mostlt< 5 years

Hi! It is always better to apply to programs who are looking for your credentials. If you need a visa then, applying to programs that don't sponsor will be a waste of money.
