MBBS, DCH vs MD - lifeon - ArchivalUser - 03-18-2011 I have completed MBBS and DCH (Post graduate diploma in Child Health) from India and am now a part of a research team. For one of the articles that is being sent, the editors of the article want to know if I can attach MD after my name instead of MBBS, DCH. Please help me understand if I can do so. Also, the article will be published in the journal across the globe and MBBS and MD in US and India mean different. What should I be doing? Will I get into any legal tangle if I go ahead and put MD DCH or only MD instead of MBBS DCH 0 - ArchivalUser - 03-19-2011 i think MD will be fine as if u do ur MBBS evaluation by World Education Service, they will write down MBBS equivalent to MD in US... Here who ever complete allopathic med school are recognize as MD.. 0 - ArchivalUser - 03-20-2011 Thanks. Came across this piece of information as well and does this mean we can write MD afer our name and especially in my case in the article?
