ok this is my first thing to receive
i got an email from Penn State/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center informing me that the only visa they provide is J1 and no H1B Visa .
that is the only thing in the email . anyone got this email?

you need to reply asap to it...cc the pd and write some 200 words, why you should be given an h1...then the best responses will be put on hold and the remainder will be sent a quick reject!

Is that a good idea to let them know we are fine with J1 visa? Can that affect on their decision?

Are such e-mails usual approach by programs??

just send them that you are ok with the J1 and you hope you hear soon from them to the program coordinator .
